On the afternoon of November 9, Tsinghua High School Attached to "Shuimu Lecture Hall, Dialogue with you" series of lectures was honored to invite Professor Wang Luning, Vice President of University of Science and Technology Beijing, to give a special lecture on "Materials: The Cornerstone of the Development of Human Civilization" for all teachers and students of the High School 23 Department in the lecture hall。Tsinghua High School Associate Vice President Xu Wenbing, High School 23 director Zeng Jianchuan, deputy director Yin Ran, career teacher Xu Zhuoyao attended the event。This lecture deeply explores the key role of materials in social progress and human civilization, as well as its important supporting position in the development of modern society。

In the lecture, Professor Wang Luning stressed the importance of materials in human history, pointing out that the division of eras is often closely related to materials, such as the "Stone Age", "Bronze Age" and "Iron Age"。He provides an in-depth explanation of the material innovations behind these eras, revealing the unique contribution of materials to the advancement of human society。
